B) Light cavalry saber with signed blade: “G. Morel, Mexico”. Engraved “Fabrica Toledo”. Leather covered handle with metal hilt with embossed eagle design. Tooled leather scabbard. 37″ long. Blade shows light surface corrosion and scabbard shows wear to leather. Provenance: From the estate of Alan Gaines of A & A Gaines Antiques, Newport, Rhode Island.
