(B) Round box with geometric open work design. 3 1/8″ high x 5 1/2″ diameter. (C) Round ditty box with simple lapped construction. 3 1/2″ high x 7 1/4″ diameter. Provenance: From the estate of Alan Gaines of A & A Gaines Antiques, Newport, Rhode Island. (A) Missing lid. Shows some damage. (B) Most geometric design missing. Damage to lid. (C) Shows minor roughage.
