19th/20th century. A footed bowl, possibly gourd form. With repousse designs that feature village motifs, including palm trees, water buffaloes and villages. It has four saber feet with what appear to be crocodile tooth inserts. Unusual form, possibly for burning incense. Tested 800 silver. 3 1/2″ high x 6 1/4″ wide. 8.32 ozt. without crocodile teeth. Crocodile teeth show cracks and separations. Silver dish shows some surface scratches, minor discoloration and imperfections on bottom. No maker’s mark.
