Early 20th century. Stamped on bowl “Tarachund Parsram Jeweler Bombay Silver”. Probably a censer. Elaborate cobra handles graduating to Hindu deity mounts of Lord Vishnu in the Matsya avatar (half-human half-fish form). With an intricately carved coconut bowl with warriors and dancers. Mounted on a silver base with three recumbent elephants. Inset removable silver bowl. 10 1/2″ high x approximately 5″ wide. Good overall condition, consistent with wear and use.
