19th C. Wrapped fingered construction. Cutout decorations of American flags, decanter and goblets and geometric designs. Overlaid over red / blue silk. Signed on bottom: “Albert Hand 150 years”. Albert Hand was carpenter aboard the whale ship TRITON out of New Bedford between 1853-1857. 4 3/4” high x 9 1/4” wide x 7” deep. Original finish and condition. Some silk missing. Shows some loss to baleen as well as cracking.
